Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Ours is a four member family ( we, the parents and our 5-year old twins Alessandro and Tessa)....plus Sasha, our cat
I am Tiziana and I quit working to raise my kids while my husband Andrea works as an International salesman. We are a very "international" couple, we lived in a few countries and we would like our children to be international as well. We loved our past au pair experience so we would like to do that again.
We live in greater Salerno close to a variety of touristic sites: Amalfi coast, Sorrento, the ancient city of Pompeii and Paestum, the islands of Capri and Ischia (Just to mention a few).

We all like to go roller skating, we like to travel a lot, we are interested in History and human evolution, in fact we read books and follow documentaries on these topics.
We have big families and are used to riunite for celebrations quite often (some sundays, birthdays and all the occasions you can think of).

Job Description

We are looking for a grown up person who feels comfortable around children and is capable to deal with them.
The main task for this job will be teaching English to our children.

Children are at kindergarten for most of the day (9 to 4) then they practice skating (roughly until 6). Basically from Monday to Friday the au pair will have all mornings and afternoons available for herself. Evenings and Saturdays we expect more interaction with our twins. If she can play and teach a musical instrument it would be a big plus.

Besides that, we are looking for a person who feels and acts as a member of our family, no specific chores are expected but since she'll be living with us, we may ask to pick up the kids at school and take them to do sport. We'll take care of all cooking and grocery shopping. If she desires, she can come with us anywhere we go: vacations, out of town weekends , dinners with friends/family members and parties. Our au pair will have access to the family car so we expect someone responsible and reliable; in exchange we are sure to provide a vivid, diversified and exciting experience of real life with never-ending possibilities to practice the language and learn about Italian culture.
