Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Future Au Pair,

We’re excited to introduce our family of four! We live in one of Germany’s largest cities, just 5 km from the city center. Our family includes a 5-year-old attending KiGa and a 1-year-old who recently started KiTa. Both parents work primarily from home, allowing for a lively and flexible household.

Our home is well-connected, with a bus stop right at the gate. The nearest Volkshochschule (VHS) is just 30 minutes away by public transport.

We look forward to sharing our home and lives with someone who loves children, is responsible, and wants to explore life in Germany.

Job Description

We are looking for a caring and reliable au pair to join our family. The main responsibilities include helping with the kids at home, especially when our work hours go beyond their time at KiTa/KiGa. And sometimes picking up our son from school, which is a short walk away. Occasional help with other things would be appreciated too.

Light support with tidying up children’s areas or preparing snacks would also be appreciated, but your primary focus will be ensuring a safe and fun environment for the kids. We’re excited to welcome someone who loves spending time with children and is eager to share and experience cultures.
