Dear Future Au Pair,

We are a warm and welcoming family of five living in the heart of Frankfurt, and we’re excited to open our home to a kind, caring, and responsible au pair. With three wonderful children — a curious and creative 10-year-old, an energetic and sweet 6-year-old, and our upcoming little bundle of joy, a newborn — we’re looking for someone who can become a part of our family and help us care for our children as they grow.

Our home is located in the city center, just steps away from public transportation, parks, shops, and several excellent language schools. You’ll have easy access to everything the city has to offer, and we’re happy to support your language learning and cultural experiences during your stay.

We are looking for someone who can join us for a minimum of 12 to 24 months, so you’ll have plenty of time to build strong connections and truly experience life with us in Germany. As our au pair, you’ll have your own apartment nearby, shared with one roommate, giving you both independence and privacy while still being close to our family.

Your main responsibilities would include helping with the children when they’re at home, picking up or accompanying the older kids from school or kindergarten, and assisting with basic household tasks — things like organizing toys, preparing snacks, or folding laundry. We also have a cleaning lady who comes three times a week to take care of deep cleaning, so your help will focus on daily routines and light assistance. We would ask for your support six days a week, with time off and flexibility to enjoy your own personal interests.

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, is responsible and kind, and will feel at home with us. In return, we offer a supportive, respectful, and fun environment where you’ll be treated like part of the family, while also having space and time to pursue your own goals and enjoy the cultural exchange.
