Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear future Au Pair!

We're a young family looking for a fun, warm and caring soul to join our family and care for our 2 year old daughter (Maeve). Family is super important to us, and we want to make sure our future Au Pair feels like she's in a home away from home while you live with us. Not only do we want you to feel like part of our family, but we want to make sure you feel comfortable to be yourself, explore all the best parts of Sydney and have a wonderful experience while you're here.

We are looking for someone who loves children and wants to take Maeve on mini adventures. Maeve is confident and bubbly and has such a fun personality already shining through! Maeve's favourite hobby is dancing... she just had her 2nd birthday and got her first ballet tutu which she is obsessed with. Maeve also loves the beach! If you do become our future Au Pair you'll be able to experience Australia in the peak of summer and will likely spend a lot of time at the beach building sandcastle with Maeve and soaking up the sunshine!

We also have a Ragdoll cat called Moet who loves a pat once she feels comfortable around you.

Job Description

Our offer:
- Private bedroom with double bed
- Shared bathroom (with Maeve)
- Food at home
- Car while you stay with us
- $250 weekly salary

The weekly routine:
- 2 days a week we need you to care for Maeve and take her on adventures
- 2 days a week we need you to drop off and pick up Maeve from Preschool (8am-5pm). While Maeve is at Preschool we'd love it if you could do some general cleaning around the house, buy groceries, cooking etc.
- Wednesday: Day off - Maeve spends the day with her Grandparents, but we will need you to be with Maeve until they come to pick her up.
- Saturday/Sunday: Day off - Maeve will be with us :)

Other things:
- Any expenses required for day with Maeve will be paid for by us like petrol, zoo tickets, etc.

Ideal start date:
- Stu starts his new job on December 1st, so we were hoping our future Au Pair could start around the same time to help us with the transition.

Accommodation

You'll have your own bedroom with double bed.
The bathroom is shared with Maeve, and it's not connected to your bedroom.

We are located in Sydney, Australia and live very close to the city... you can take a short bus ride and be in the heart of Sydney city! You'll be minutes away from Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Zoo, Art Museums and loads of wonderful beaches and parks.

During the summer we also like to go up to Pip's family beach house on the Central Coast and enjoy the beach with Maeve and other family members!
