Our family is looking for a new Au pair. We have currently an Au pair from Uganda and this is the third time we are searching for a new one. :)
We are a family of 4 (a girl with 4 years old and a 1 year old boy). We are both doctors, working sometimes with night shifts and we would love to have someone help with our children and house chores.
> VERY IMPORTANT: we really need someone who has driving licence and can drive! (we live in a very calm region, car traffic is easy). >> If you don´t have driving licence and no driving skills, please do NOT apply !<<

Wir sind eine 4-köpfige Familie (ein Mädchen mit 4 Jahren und ein 1-jähriger Junge). Wir sind beide Ärzte, arbeiten manchmal in Nachtschichten und würden gerne jemanden haben, der uns bei unseren Kindern und bei der Hausarbeit hilft.
> SEHR WICHTIG: wir brauchen unbedingt jemanden, der einen Führerschein hat und fahren kann! (wir leben in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend, der Autoverkehr ist einfach). >> Wenn Sie keinen Führerschein haben, bewerben Sie sich bitte nicht !!
Job Description
- We expect that the Au-pair can be engaging and pro-active with playtime and activities: this means to be motivated, to be creative and enjoy playing with them, do some fun activities or arts and craft or simply going outside and have some fun in the nature or at the playground and not expect us to always tell you what to do.
- Some screen time is allowed but we try to reduce as much as possible!
- usually we like to cook our own meals but it would be nice to have some help with cooking sometimes :)
- We need help with house keeping and we see this as an "extra job", so we are willing to pay extra money! :)
OUR DAILY ROUTINE:
We work from Monday to Friday from 07:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.. The kids go to Kindergarten from 8:00 a.m. until 14:30 p.m.
When the kids arrive home they eat some afternoon snack or play for a few minutes, then they should have a bath. After it is playtime until we arrive home too. Dinner starts to be prepared around 18:00 p.m. so we can all start having dinner at 19:00 p.m.
After dinner it is time to brush the teeth, dress pyjamas and bedtime story. Our goal is to have both of them sleeping around 20:00 p.m.
Their breakfast and cloths for the next day should be prepared the day before.

Family Description
We are a family of 4 (one is 4 years old girl and a 1 year old boy), we have double nationality (Portuguese and German) and live in Germany since 2013.We speak fluent Portuguese, German and English.
We are both doctors.
We love to travel and to experience new cultures and food! :) We are very easy going people, flexible and kind. We will respect you and expect you to respect us.
To keep our house clean and tidy is very important for us!
Our most important role is to always be honest with each other and speak up when something is not right!
Ignoring problems or just keep it to yourself will only make the problem bigger and make our living together hard and uncomfortable.
Accommodation
Our house has a small garden too, but needs no maintenance.
Friedelsheim is a small town in the near from a bigger town called Bad Dürkheim (5min) and 20 min from Mannheim and Ludwigshafen, 15 min from Neustadt.
This region is known by its vineyards, trekking and bicycle routes and trails.
