We’re looking for a caring and responsible Au Pair to be part of our family—helping with childcare, cooking, sharing cultures, and making wonderful memories together. Job Description

Around 17:00, we’ll need you to take a short, 10-minute walk to pick up Charlotte from daycare. She’ll be so excited to see you! Once you're back home, you’ll prepare and feed her dinner—she’s a great little eater and loves mealtime. After dinner, there’s plenty of time for books and playtime (she’s a big fan of storytime!), so we’re looking for someone warm, patient, and fun.

Rich usually gets home around 18:00, and from there, we’ll tag-team the evening—either he’ll take over with Charlotte while you help with dinner, or vice versa. Every other day, you’ll give Charlotte a bath (bonus points if you can handle some splashing!). She’s usually in bed by 19:30, and after a quick tidy-up of her play area and dinner space, you’re all done for the day! In total, it's usually just about 2.5 hours of work, leaving the rest of your day free to do as you like.

Once a week, we try to sneak in a date night. On those evenings, we’d just need you to keep an eye on Charlotte via her baby monitor while we’re out.

On weekends, we love to explore and go on family outings—of course, you’re always welcome to come along! You’ll always have at least one full weekend day to yourself. Sometimes, we’ll travel for vacations, and if you’d like to join us, that would be amazing—but no pressure if you’d rather stay behind. Our goal is for you to have a fun, enriching experience while making great memories alongside us!

Accommodation

We live in a spacious home, perfect for hosting family and friends who often visit from abroad. While it’s just the three of us day to day, we made sure there’s plenty of space for everyone—including you!

You’ll have your own private bedroom and bathroom, giving you a comfortable place to relax and unwind. Your bathroom has both a shower and a toilet, so you’ll have your own personal space to get ready and recharge. We truly want you to feel at home here, and as part of our family, you’ll have everything you need to settle in.

To help you fit right into our routine and lifestyle, we’ll provide:

Meals – We’ll make sure you always have plenty of food, and we’re happy to accommodate any dietary preferences.

A Car – You’ll have access to a car for any transportation related to Charlotte, as well as for personal errands when needed.

A Cellphone – We’ll provide you with a phone so you can easily stay connected with us, and of course, you can use it for personal needs too.

Public transportation - We'll make sure to pay for your unlimited train/bus pass which allows you anytime access to Germany's public transportation network.
