Au Pair/Nanny Search: Family of 5 in Göttingen (March 2025 Start)

We are a warm and welcoming family of five, living in Göttingen, Germany. Our family consists of two adults and three wonderful children—two boys aged 7 and 1, and a girl who is also 1. We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring au pair/nanny to join our household and help with childcare, light housekeeping, and general household support.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing childcare and supervision for our three children.

Dropping off and picking up kids from daycare/school.

Assisting with light housekeeping duties such as tidying up the house and cleaning.

Supporting with grocery shopping and light cooking.


Requirements:

Fluent or highly competent in English (a must). Proficiency in Tamil, Hindi, or German is an option but not a showstopper.

Previous experience in child minding or working with children.

Energetic and kind, with a genuine love for children and a passion for making a positive impact in their daily lives.

Comfortable with a family-oriented, busy household.


Living Arrangements:

A private studio apartment with its own kitchen, bed, and bathroom will be provided. The studio is located in the same building as the family’s home, ensuring proximity while maintaining personal space.


Location:

We live in Göttingen, a lively city known for its university, international student population, and friendly, welcoming community. Our home is conveniently located 1km from the city center, with a bus stop just 100 meters away, making it easy to access key locations in the city.


Family Expectations:

Start Date: March 2025.

Duration: 8-12 months (with the possibility to extend).

Work Hours: 25-40 hours per week, with flexibility depending on the family’s needs and the au pair's availability.
