We are looking for someone who is comfortable and enjoys working with children, ideally with prior experience or from a family with several children. Patience and kindness are essential.

Salary & Schedule
- 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4 hours/day) in exchange for room, board, and utilities.
- Any overtime will be paid.

2. Safety and Care Skills
✅ First Aid: Knowledge of first aid procedures and what to do in case of an emergency (choking, falls, fever, etc.). ✅ Accident Monitoring and Prevention: Ability to anticipate and avoid household hazards.
✅ Hygiene and Care: Knowing how to change a baby's diaper, prepare a bottle, give a bath, etc.

3. Developmental and Teaching Skills
✅ Awareness and Stimulation: Offer age-appropriate activities (games, nursery rhymes, reading, motor skills).
✅ Learning Assistance: Encourage language, motor skills, and discovery of the world.
✅ Patience and Kindness: Adopt a gentle and reassuring approach to support the child's emotions.

4. Organizational Skills
✅ Time Management: Structure the day around meals, naps, activities, and outings. ✅ Meal preparation: Knowing how to cook balanced meals appropriate for the child's age (optional)
✅ Maintaining the living space: Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the child.

5. Interpersonal skills
Communication with parents: Being able to discuss the child's day, their progress, and their needs.
Empathy and gentleness: Building a bond of trust with the child and their family.
Adaptability: Reacting flexibly to unexpected events and the child's changing needs.
