We are a family of four and are looking for someone to help us care for our children. Here's a brief introduction to each of us:

Parents: My name is Irina, and I'm 40. My husband is 44. We are both lawyers and work in Munich, working from home a few days a week. Together, we are a dedicated team who value family and mutual support. Since we both work full-time, we love spending time with family and experiencing new adventures in our free time.

Children: We have two wonderful children who are the heart of our home. Our older son is 5 and the younger son is 2. They are very curious and full of energy. They both love playing outside, being creative, and discovering new things. The older son plays ice hockey in the winter. He also loves gymnastics. Both children attend a kindergarten within a 3-minute walk. Both are picked up around 3 p.m.

Our home is located in a house in Gersthofen, in a friendly and safe neighborhood, just a few kilometers from the city of Augsburg. In the immediate vicinity (within 1 km) are numerous shops, doctors, restaurants, and leisure activities (gyms, outdoor and indoor pools, sports clubs, tennis clubs, golf clubs, etc.). Everything Gersthofen doesn't offer can, of course, be found in Augsburg. Augsburg is one of the oldest cities in Germany and has a wealth of history and culture to offer. Bavaria's capital, Munich, can be easily reached by train (about 45-60 minutes) or by car (about 45 minutes). Within a 100 km radius, there are many tourist attractions, recreational areas, lakes, and the Alps. We are looking for a reliable and tidy person for a period of at least 9 and a maximum of 12 months who will pick up our children from kindergarten around 3 p.m. and then keep them busy (e.g., take them for walks, play games, and do crafts). If the children have to stay home due to illness, we rely on full-time childcare – fortunately, but not very often. Your help is needed all day. However, the grandparents, who live not far from us, often help out. Household chores (vacuuming downstairs, tidying up toys and the kitchen) take about 30-40 minutes a day and are done by our current au pair in the evenings when we go upstairs with the children for bedtime. This is around 7-7:30 p.m. We usually take care of putting them to bed. We also usually take care of the children ourselves in the morning and take them to kindergarten. We would be very happy if you could also prepare lunch for the family from time to time. Our current au pair does this about twice a week. Since we often get food from the grandparents, this varies somewhat.

You will be provided with a beautiful, fully furnished room (including a walk-in dressing room) with two windows and heating in the basement. There is also a newly renovated bathroom for (almost) exclusive use. The room is equipped with an adjustable height table and a pull-out sofa bed. A TV with Netflix, Prime, and other services is also available in the room.

You can, of course, share the WiFi.

It is particularly important to us that you feel not just like a helper, but like a true member of the family. We want an open, trusting atmosphere where you feel welcome and comfortable. Respectful and warm interaction is very important to us – as are shared experiences where we can learn from each other and grow together.
