Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of four—Eva (mum), Johannes (dad), Paul (8), and Georg (6)—and we are looking for an Au Pair to stay with us from September 2025 to May/June 2026. Our home is located just outside Graz, Austria, with excellent public transportation to the city. Graz, Austria’s second-largest city, offers language schools and various amenities, and the city center is just a 30-minute bus ride away, with the bus stop a short walk from our house.

As an added bonus, our location in southern Austria provides easy access to Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy, making weekend trips to these beautiful destinations simple to arrange.

Job Description

We are looking for an Au Pair to care for our children four afternoons a week, starting at around 2 PM when they return from school. Responsibilities include driving them to sports activities, helping them study for tests, and ideally engaging with them in English. Additionally, the Au Pair should be able to prepare a light dinner for the kids if needed.
