Hello from Australia. I am living on the best part of Australia Gold Coast. We own a modest apartment 3 Bedrooms plus 3 bathrooms. Open living room and kitchen, office, laundry and 2 courtyards on the ground level. Upper section has a large balcony appx 30sqm. I am looking g after my elderly mum for the past 13 years. I require a mature responsible person to take a bit of burden to be tight up with my mum 24/7. Mum is old but very nice, have a lovely personality but sometimes crave for company. My work is pretty simple.
I provide for mum Breakfast
Coffee break
Lunch
Afternoon tea
Dinner
This is usually at 7 am 10am 12.30 pm 3.30 pm and 6 pm.
I wash 2 to 3 times a week and either shower mum or using dry spray foam to wash her.
She using incontinence pads and she need the hand with it as well as clothing her, prepare her meals cut food portions.
Mum is using walker and is slow. She still managing to get to the table or to toilet. Her bedroom is on the same level as living room and the kitchen.
She is not very talkative, but smiles a lot.
I need someone who can drive automatic if I am not at presence.
My daughters family lives near by but they are having a very busy scheduled life so they could only help to pop in or visit during a day.
I am offering a self contained bedroom with separate bathroom it is not an ensuit but next to bedroom. It will not be shared by anyone else..Bedroom have door to courtyard.
We are about 10 klm from the beach and mountains, called Tambourine mountains.
Our townhouse is elevated ground level entry and balcony with a view of Coast in the background.
I would like to welcome any person who has a caring nature, easy going, clean and tidy, even so I am not too fussy.
Person must be able to understand elderly person as they are usually slow, agreeable about anything and their comprehension may not be very clear.
