Hello!

We are a lovely family located in the city of Granada, Spain, looking for a caring and responsible au pair to look after our daughters for a few months. We have two daughters, aged 4 and 6, who are playful, curious, and full of energy. We also have a small, friendly dog named Laika.

We live on the outskirts of Granada, in a peaceful area surrounded by nature, just one and a half kilometers from the city. We offer a welcoming, family-friendly environment where you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Spanish culture and practice the language.

We are an open, sociable family who can easily adapt to different situations. We all love sports, and healthy eating is a big part of our lifestyle; we aim to live as healthily and naturally as possible.

Your main responsibility will be to care for our daughters while we are at work. We would love for you to help stimulate their English learning through fun activities and daily conversations.

Of course, we would be happy if you participate as much as possible in family life, joining us for meals, dinners, family time, and trips, becoming a real part of the family. We also hope you'll help with light household tasks related to the children (picking up toys, organizing clothes, toys, and books, hanging the laundry, setting and clearing the table, etc.). The working hours will be flexible, and we will make sure to respect your needs, always coming to a fair agreement.

It is especially important to us that technology is kept to a minimum: we don't want our daughters to grow up surrounded by screens, so we all try to limit screen time as much as possible, especially when the kids are around. We never use screens to entertain the children, and we would appreciate it if you didn’t either. We also don't like to see the adults using mobile phones or tablets for long periods around the kids, as we believe it’s a bad example for them.

It’s also important that you enjoy family life and that you’re happy spending time with the family, reading, talking, listening, playing... We wouldn't want you to spend all your free time locked in your room or without any contact with the family.

We offer comfortable accommodation, a spacious, private, bright room in our house, as well as a fair financial compensation. The work period is flexible, but we would like you to stay with us from May/June to at least September/October. We have a lot of flexibility regarding dates and the length of stay.
