Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, we are family of three and are looking for an au pair. We live in the countryside about 20 minutes from Grass Valley. It is a beautiful town with hills, forests and lakes. There’s a small community college in town. The community around Grass Valley is very focused on healthy living though getting in tune with nature, eating healthy, caring for the environment, and nurturing your spiritual side. We are moving to a lake front house in a gated community, which has lots of parks, events, and activities.

Job Description

The job is to take of our son Leo while we are working. Usually 9am to 5pm. This includes playing constructive and interesting game with him. Going to parks or swimming pool with him. Making meals for him to eat and feeding him. Changing diapers, giving him baths, and putting him down for naps. It also includes cleaning after him. Ideally it would be great to have someone who knows how to cook and could do some meal prep for everyone to eat.

You will get your own room with lake view. Private bathroom (for the most part. It is also the common bathroom that guests would use that come over to visit, or if we are upstairs during the day, so it still needs to be kept clean and clutter free) high speed internet. Access to a shared vehicle. Lake access to go canoeing, paddle boarding, or swimming. Our community has private tennis courts, pickle ball courts, golf course, pool, and several beaches. Kitchen, shared meals. You are also welcome to go boating with us when we go riding on the lake.
