We’re looking for a caring and reliable live-in au pair or nanny to help with our 4-year-old son, Harvey, and light household tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a flexible arrangement with plenty of free time to take on other babysitting jobs.

What We’re Looking For:
• Someone to drop Harvey off at kindergarten 3 times a week (a short 10-15 min walk each way).
• Pick-up at 2:45 PM, bring him home, prep and have afternoon tea, play with him, and (if comfortable) help with dinner prep.
• Look after him until about 6 PM on those three days.
• Light household tasks on those days, including:
• Hanging and folding laundry
• Tidying up toys
• Occasional vacuuming

What We Offer in Exchange:
• 15-20 hours per week
• A private room plus your own bathroom in our home
• All meals included
• $70 pocket money (after tax) per week (can be adjusted for the right person)

Extra Earning Potential:

Since we only require help three days a week, there’s flexibility for the right person to take on another babysitting or part-time job on the two free days. Standard babysitting rates in Auckland (for non-live-in roles) are $25-$30 per hour, meaning you could easily earn extra income on your own schedule.
