Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

**Hello, future AuPair!**

We are currently looking for a new AuPair to join our happy family, starting immediately! Our kids are speaking english.

We are a cheerful family with two wonderful children: Theo, who is 5 years old, and our older one, who is 11 years old. We love spending time together, and our weekends are often filled with fun activities like visiting castles, exploring new places, or simply enjoying some quality family time. Although we work a lot during the week, weekends are always special.

Family is very important to us, and we are fortunate to have the grandparents living nearby. They often visit and are a big part of our lives.

We’ve been hosting AuPairs for several years now and absolutely love it! Getting to know new cultures and sharing our own has been such a joy for us. We are always open to new ideas and inspirations that AuPairs bring from their home countries, and we’re happy to share our German traditions with you as well.

As our AuPair, your main responsibility will be caring for Theo from 8 AM to 2 PM. Theo is a bright, fun-loving little guy, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys creativity, fun, and maybe even a little bit of silliness!

We fully support our AuPairs in attending a language course, and we’ll help you find one that suits your schedule, so you can improve your German while you're with us.

When we go on holiday, we’d love for you to come along! Recently, we traveled to Prague, the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic, and it was an amazing trip. We always make sure our AuPair feels part of our family adventures.

We live in a small town right in the center, with everything close by. And if you're looking for a bit more city life, a large city is just 30 minutes away.

Job Description

We are looking for a warm and loving person to care for our children – especially our 5-year-old Theo. He’s a lively and cheerful child who loves to sing, dance, and have fun. We’re looking for someone who enjoys playing with him, being silly, and introducing him to new things. A good, trusting relationship is especially important to us.

It would also be great if you could help us with meal preparation and some light household chores. However, your main focus will be on caring for Theo with love and attention. You will have plenty of time in the afternoons or on weekends to enjoy your own interests, like meeting friends, attending language school, or shopping. ?
