Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello dear AuPair,

We hope to convince you of our family and the location in Prignitz in Brandenburg located Just near to Hamburg and Berlin.
In our home you can expect a large country house where you will have your own room.
My wife and I both work and need help getting the children ready for school and kindergarten in the morning and picking them up again in the afternoon. The childcare time is limited to 25-30 hours a week and you are willing to support us one weekend a month.

You can reach the nearest larger towns of Pritzwalk, Perleberg and Wittenberge by bus and train, where you can take a language course at the adult education center. With the right driving license, we can also provide you with a car.

Cultural exchange is very important to my wife and I because we have lived abroad ourselves and enjoy speaking foreign languages and would like to support you in doing so.

We are often on the road at weekends and would like to give you the opportunity to experience the big cities of Hamburg and Berlin as well as the nature of Brandenburg and other cultural highlights.

In the morning until 8 a.m.

Driving the children to school, daycare and leisure activities
Prepare meals for the children when my wife and I can't cook
Help the children tidy up their rooms
Doing the children's laundry and helping them get dressed

In the afternoon/evening from 4 p.m.

Picking up the children
Play with the children
Help the children with their personal hygiene (brushing teeth, bathing,...)
Put the children to bed and read to them

At the weekend

Babysitting once a month at the weekend
Going on excursions together to the swimming pool, museums or zoo

Accommodation

The room is on the first floor and is in a very quiet location. It is approx. 20 square meters in size and has a bed, wardrobe and desk as well as WiFi. We have 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet in the house, whereby the bathroom on the first floor is free for you to use and we as a family use the bathroom on the upper floor.
