Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello ❁

We are looking for an au pair to join our family for a minimum of 6 months, to help us balance our family and professional life, while taking care of our little girl.

Our home is a large, recently renovated farmhouse, located in a small, picturesque village in the Yvelines. What is unique is that our neighborhood benefits from easy access to public transport with direct lines to Paris CBD 7 days a week (35-minute train ride).

Both originally from Australia (Oliver is English and Margaux is French) and now living in France for over 5 years, we are a young couple, both bilingual in English and French. We enjoy spending time in Paris, visiting our local markets, gardening, cooking as a family and spending our summer holidays by the sea in Spain. My partner is a professional carpenter and musician, there is always music playing in our home and I collect and sell vintage, working independently for myself and in the fashion industry.

Accommodation

We live in a beautiful country house which has a front yard and a large garden with chickens who provide us with fresh eggs daily. We have a covered area for cars and two large workshops.

Our home consists of a main kitchen with separate pantry, a living and dining room and on the top floor we have two bathrooms and five bedrooms with large windows overlooking our garden. The house has two separate fireplaces and central heating for the colder months.
