Work abroad in Dorothea's family for 10-14 Months starting from Aug 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 6 - 10 years old in Hannover, Lower Saxony Germany

Dear AuPair. We would like to welcome you as a family member with us. We are an open-minded, open-hearted and interested family who live on the outskirts of Hanover. It takes 20 minutes by bicycle or bus to the city center with lots of things to do and experience there. On the other side of our house are fields and forests where you can do sports, play with the children or go cycling. The German in Hanover is clear and without dialect, so the best place to learn the German language.

My husband and I were both exchange students for a year and I was also an AuPair for a year. We had great experiences in other countries with their cultures and families. We would like to make such an experience in Germany possible for you.
We are looking for an AuPair who enjoys being with children: play outside and inside with them, chase, soccer, make musik, paint, teach your native language or whatever you like to do ... We would like our AuPair to cook 3x a week and if you like show us your own favorite food. The children should be brought to school at 8am and later being picked up again at 1pm. When you picked up the kids we need you you until dinner at around 6pm. Furthermore we need your help in cleaning for 3-4 hours a week (bathrooms and floors), which is one afternoon and we would be happy if you enlisted the childrens help, so they also do their jobs around the house :)
Weekends are free and you can travel, but are also welcome to spend the time with us. We welcome you to come along on day trips to see more of Germany, our family and friends, but of course you don't need to. When we go on vacation, you are welcome to come with us, or enjoy your own vacation (Sibling of Dorothea also welcome you for a long weekend to get to know their cities - at the moment that would be Vienna, Berlin (maybe Munich soon) and Düsseldorf).
