Work abroad in Isa's family for 10-24 Months starting from Sep 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 1 - 5 years old in Hannover, Lower Saxony Germany

Hello future au pair! We are a family of three and we are looking for an au pair to come live with us.

We are Chris (36), Isa (31) and my almost three year old son Mateo. We just recently moved into a house in Burgwedel near Hanover in Germany, where we finally have enough room to host an aupair. Chris works full time, I am working in the mornings while Mateo attends kindergarten. We will have another addition to the family in February :)

Mateo was born in Madrid in Spain, as my husband and I lived there for three years. We would love you to speak to Mateo in Spanish to learn the language from a young age. You do not need to speak German before coming here. If you wish to learn the language, we will definitely help you and practice.

We live in a small village called Großburgwedel, which is about 30 min from the city of Hanover. We have nature around, but the village center has some pretty fashion stores, a coffee place, restaurants, pharmacies and lots of supermarkets. We have a train station which will bring you to Hanover in 15 minutes once per hour. There are also several busses, depending on where you want to go to in Hanover. There is a language school around the corner (5 min walk), other options are in the region.

As our daily life is quite busy, we are looking for an au pair to help us with childcare, mostly in the afternoons after kindergarten: reading, playing in the garden, going to the playground... It is important to us though that you communicate with him in Spanish. As we will have another child in February, we would then still love to have One-on-One time with both our son Mateo and the new baby, so you would need to be comfortable to take care of a small baby as well. All in all, we are flexible, so we can agree on a schedule that works for all of us :)

On the weekends, we love to explore the area, visit surrounding cities, go for walks or eat in a restaurant. We also love traditions, such as strawberry picking in the summer, meeting Santa Claus in winter, Carnival in spring time. You are very welcome to join us. If you prefer to spent your weekends on your own or with new friends here, that's also great!

Our home is walking distance to the village center. We have a garden, that is very sunny in the summer. Mateo has his own playroom. You will have your own room and a small semi-private bathroom, only to be shared with guests.
