Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,

We are a family with two kids. Our son is 7 years old and our daughter is 8. My husband is a native German and works in IT. I am a U.S. citizen and work as a corporate attorney. We speak English and German at home. Our kids go to German international school.

Our house in Dubai (area of Dubailand) has a lovely small garden and a pool. The au pair will have her own room and bathroom. We provide a weekly cash allowance and assistance with flights to and from Dubai. We expect the au pair to help with the kids--getting them ready for school, driving them to school, picking them up from school, taking them to various activities. We also expect the au pair to help with light household chores, such as putting the dishes away kids' clothes and tidying kids' rooms.

We treat au pairs as if they are part of the family.
