Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! We are a family of four living in Heidelberg, Germany, outside of the center. We are originally from the Czech republic and Hungary but we have grown up abroad for most of our lives (in the UK and the US). We have two children, one 5 and one 8 years old. My mother who is Czech (72 years old) has just moved to Germany from the US to live in a house next door to us. She has dementia and is slowly loosing her ability to be autonomous. We are looking for live-in help for my mother.

We travel as often as we can (when the children are out of school) and hope that you would join us to our country house in the south of France and on other trips around the world.

Job Description

We are primarily seeking companionship and help for my mother. We hope you can help with daily chores such as shopping, keeping the houses tidy, laundry, occasional cooking, etc.

You should speak either Czech or English, with good fluency. German is a plus and if you have a Drivers' license that is also a big help. We are very flexible, the salary will be generous and depend on qualifications and experience.
