Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

We are a young family living in the centre of Heidelberg, right in the heart of the charming old town. Our house is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. Heidelberg is a vibrant city with an international atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to enjoy your free time. We think it's a wonderful place to live and we're sure you'll feel right at home here.

We are looking for a loving and responsible au pair to help us with the care of our two daughters and who wants to be part of our family during her stay in Germany.

Job Description

Our au pair's role will be primarily to take care of our daughters and help with the daily routine. Our oldest daughter goes to kindergarten during the day, so most of the time you will be with the baby, but it is also important that you spend time with our oldest daughter when she is home.

In addition to caring for the girls, we are looking for someone who can help with some household chores, such as picking up after play, doing laundry, tidying the girls' rooms, and preparing simple meals. We don't expect you to do deep cleaning, but we do expect you to help keep the home tidy.

We want our au pair to feel comfortable and enjoy time with our family. We are looking for someone who is responsible, caring, patient, and eager to share this experience with us.

We want our au pair to feel comfortable and have her own space. That's why we offer a self-contained one-bedroom apartment, with its own bathroom and kitchen. The apartment has a private entrance for added independence, but is also connected to our home, making it easier to live together and be close to the family.
