Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

** Looking for (granny) au pair to start September 2025 in The Netherlands ?? **

Hi there,

✅ Do you see yourself living in a country famous for its tulips, canals and cheese?
✅ Do you want to join a Dutch family living in small coastal town near Rotterdam and The Hague?
✅ Do you have childcare or au pair experience either back home or abroad?

We are a warm and welcoming family of four – mom, dad, 3 year old son and our daughter who was born on 2 August 2024.
We also have a sweet and lovely dog from Portugal who loves to cuddle.

We are looking for our 3rd au pair to help us for a minimum period of 6 months starting from September 2025.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUTCH IMMIGRATION HAS BECOME MORE STRICT AND VISA PROCESSING MIGHT TAKE 90 DAYS!
EU passport holders are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

We are seeking a caring and energetic individual to help us for a maximum of 30 hours a week with:
• Helping out with our son and baby a few hours / day (both will also attend daycare once per week)
• Playing and doing fun stuff with our toddler son, helping to feed and nurture the baby.
• Share dog walking with mum and dad or run some errands
• Keeping our home clean and tidy. Only light cleaning/decluttering as we have cleaners to do the deep cleaning.
• Occasionally cooking but happy to share this task between mum, dad and au pair (and we love to learn your recipes)
• Occasionally babysitting in evenings but this fits within 30 hours/week (and only if you are available)
• Weekends are off for you to explore and make new friends and create memories.

A cozy 170sqm detached house with 5 bedrooms and a sunny garden. You will get the top floor where we have 1 guest bedroom, a small gym and guest bedroom for our au pair. It’s a private, spacious and sunny room with bed, internet, tv, desk, wardrobe etc.
Bathroom is shared with the family.
