Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! I’m Eno, a single mum to two lovely girls — Leah (12) and Laura (9) — living in Hornchurch, a beautiful and friendly part of London.

If you’re kind, trustworthy, and cheerful, then we’d love to welcome you into our home! We're looking for someone who enjoys being around Preteens! Our current nanny has been with us for 8 years but is now pregnant with a baby and will soon be leaving so we are looking for an Au Pair. A driver’s licence is essential. It is important that you can drive or are happy to take driving lessons which I'll pay for. You’ll have plenty of free time when the girls are at school and are welcome to explore London or take language classes locally.

Job Description

As I mentioned earlier, it is important that you are able to drive (or are willing to take driving lessons)

- School drop-off and pick-up
- Take Laura to swimming , Brownies, and birthday parties
- Cook simple, healthy meals for the girls
- Help to keep the girls room and bathroom tidy (or oversee them as they do it)
- Laundry (no homework help needed)
-Light tidying of the house (I have a cleaner that comes in)
- Any other aspects of family life which we can discuss when you arrive

We live in a big 5-bedroom house (currently being renovated) in an exclusive neighbourhood in Hornchurch. It is a lovely area with parks, cafés, and great links into Central London. Gidea park Station and Emerson Park Station are short walks away. You will have your own large bedroom with Free Wi-Fi. Your bedroom has its own private shower and toilet and overlooks the garden.
