Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!
We are looking for an au pair to help with two young girls, ages 3 and 6 years. We are located in Gloucester, VA, USA which is a small town near the Atlantic Ocean. It is about 1 hour drive from bigger cities including Richmond, VA and Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA. It is about 2.5 hours from Washington, DC and close to many larger cities on the east coast of the USA.

There are many colleges and schools in our area within about a 30 minute drive. There are also bus and trains located within 30-60 minutes although none locally. We would provide a car to use for work and free time.

Job Description

The children will be in school during the day. Au pair would be expected to help get them ready for school in the morning and spend time after school with them in the evening. He or she may be asked to help with light housekeeping or meal preparation as well as possibly homework help. Au pair may be asked to help with transportation to and from school and extracurricular activities.

First aid training preferred but not necessarily required -- will teach if needed.
