Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear au pair/nanny,
We are an Italian family living in Iskele-Long Beach in North Cyprus. We live in a small villa with a garden 900 m from the sea. The house is surrounded by fields and houses and complexes under construction, we are in a new and very quiet area. For the nanny/au pair we provide an apartment to sleep in equipped with everything kitchen, bathroom, bed with TV and wifi. In the building where the apartment is located which is on the twelfth floor with sea view, there is also a swimming pool, gym, sauna and Turkish bath. Shops and supermarkets are 1-2 km away. The nearest city is 17 km away and can be reached by bus or taxi.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and active person who loves playing with children. The children speak and understand Italian, English and Turkish. The person we are looking for will have to help with homework, play, entertain the children after school for a few hours until after dinner, but not every day. Every now and then if we have to dine out, he/she should watch them for a few more hours. During the day when the children are at school we ask for help with housework or meal preparation. I work from home so I am looking for someone who can help me with cleaning the house and we also manage a holiday apartment so it may be that a hand in cleaning is required. My husband works a lot and is therefore always away from home. The house is 300 m so there is a lot of space. If we have to go away for a few days on holiday with the children, the aupair/nanny girl should stay at home to feed the animals and take them out 3 times a day.
We are looking for a person who speaks English well to be able to teach it to the children, and at the same time who knows Italian to be able to communicate more easily, but if he doesn't know it, it's not a problem because we will teach Italian.

Accommodation

We offer a private apartment of 35 m equipped with bathroom, kitchen, bed, TV and wifi to sleep at night or on days off. In the building there is a gym, swimming pools, sauna, Turkish bath and hammam. During the day you would stay with us in the villa, where there are three bathrooms and a play room with a sofa bed that would become the private space during the day. In the house there is wifi and every comfort. We also provide a bike at your disposal.
