Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are Jana, Alex and Marina and we are happy to introduce you to our family and our home.

It will be the first time we will have an Au Pair at home but we are excited about this experience.

We consider ourselves a kind and friendly family. We love to make plans and spend time together.

We live in a small village of 1700 habitants called Ivars d'Urgell. The village is quiet, the people are nice and friendly. There is a lot of nature around.

We are half an hour from the capital, Lleida and an hour and a half from Barcelona. Both Lleida and Barcelona can be reached by bus or train. And we, since Alex's family is from Barcelona, go there some weekends, so there would be no problem to take you to Barcelona on those occasions.

We are mainly looking for an Au Pair from January/February until end of June.

Currently, there is at least one other Au Pair in the village and we know that there are also other girls in nearby villages.

Job Description

We both work hybrid, which means that some days of the week we work from home and others we go to the office.

Jana will start daycare in January, so due to the daycare schedule and our schedule, the intention is that you will take care of her in the morning to give her breakfast and take her to daycare at 8:30 am from Monday to Friday. Regarding afternoon:
Monday-Thursday: you would take care of her from 12/12.30 to 17/17.30 (the days we do not telework)
Friday: you would have to take care of Jana from 12-15
The days we telework: from 12 to 13 and from 15 to 16:30.

Saturday and Sunday would be totally free for you.

We will be very respectful of your free time, but if you want to join our family plans, we will also be happy to share the time together.

It will not be necessary for you to do the rest of the housework since we have hired a girl who comes to clean, and we will take care of the food ourselves. In case you want to eat in another schedule or another menu there will be no problem, but then we would prefer that you cook it yourself.

We live in a two-storey house with an outdoor patio. The house is located in a quiet street, near Jana’s school.
We have a room for you and also a bathroom exclusively for you. The rest of the areas of the house would be common.
We have wifi, netflix, HBO, Disney and Amazon prime.
