We are looking for our first au pair to take care of our 2 children, Victor 4 and Sophie 1, during the Summer holidays and first month of school.
The Au pair needs to have skills in arts and krafts, puzzles and cycling. We look for someone with patience, being responsible, having experience with little kids (able to change a diaper, etc.) but who is very active and proactive with the kids (leading the activities and not waiting for Victor to say what he wants to do).
Sophie goes to the kindergarten every day except 1 week in July and 1 week in August.
Victor will go to summer camps but he will also stay home one week out of two.
So the Au pair we are looking for would have to go pick up the kids in the afternoon from the kidergarten or summer camp and take care of them around 1-2 hours in the evening. Every 2 weeks, the Au pair would take care of Victor during the day also. He loves painting, glitters, making crowns, playing with the doe, cycle, enjoying the garden or the parks, reading books and above all helping in the kitchen to cook and clean.
When the daycare is closed, Sophie will be also home. We will plan that Victor goes to the summer camp this week to avoid taking care of the 2 kids at the same time.
Sophie starts walking now but in the summer she will be already walking everywhere. She is very funny, curious, wants to do everything like her brother. She needs some time to get used to someone but once you are part of her circle of trust, she will give you a lot of hugs and kisses.
The parents, Altin and Caroline, are working from home a few days a week. So, we can also take care of the kids during our breaks.
We are also expecting sometime the Au pair to babysit the kids in the evening a few time but not every week (allowing us to go play tennis or eat something with friends).
We plan to take also 2 weeks of holidays. So the Au pair won't work for 2 weeks (but will be paid of course) and can stay at the apartment or go travel in Belgium, France or Europe ;)
We have a cat, Fifi. He loves being around, being pet and playing. It is our 3rd kid ;)
