Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We are looking for a Mandarin Chinese speaker from Taiwan to care for our two boys, in return for a safe, comfortable and loving environment, a private room, and access to New York City and the New York countryside. We need help with childcare, cooking and light cleaning, errands, and laundry. We expect that the Au Pair would work 40-45 hours a week, with agreed upon vacation.
We live in Jackson Heights, which is very close to Flushing and Elmhurst, both areas with ample Chinese/Taiwanese food, groceries and businesses. It's a lively and wonderful area to live. It is a simple subway ride to the city center.
One of our children will be in school, it will be a walk within the neighborhood. The other (baby) will need full time care.
We also own a country home upstate that we will go to, it presents access to the beautiful New England outdoors. You could also have your own room when we travel there.
