Work abroad in Elina's family for 1-6 Months starting from Mar 2023 as an Au Pair to take care of 3 children of 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in Kirkkonummi, Finland

Hi there! We are a Finnish family of five, our kids are 2- (soon to be), 4- and 6-year old and Mon-Fri in the Swedish-speaking daycare. Both parents work full-time, and we like sustainable way of living, nature and outdoors, dancing, being active and spending time with friends, trying out new things, making trips in the surroundings. Enjoying simple things in life :) At home we speak Finnish. We are looking for an au pair, who would like to help out a bit with kids and daily household chores and become an important adult for them while enjoying Finnish nature and our big house and garden in the countryside - but still close to Helsinki, our capital city! You would have plenty of free time, too, and the exact working times etc are negotiable and can vary - we want you to enjoy your stay and get to know the places you’re interested in and people around here, and learn from Finnish culture. You would probably have a chance to see different places in Finland by traveling with us or by yourself.

Both parents speak fluent English, have academic degree in natural sciences/engineering and we have wide international experience and friends. We would love our kids to learn more English and/or Swedish (especially, but not to limit) and they really want it, too! Mother of the family has been studying a bit of French and the father knows some German. We are open and curious towards new things, different kinds of ways to see the world, but what comes to drugs/smoking/alcohol, we say no thanks.
