Since I'm self-employed in the catering industry, I usually don't start work until the children are already at school or kindergarten.
You then start work an hour earlier, depending on when Luca finishes school, and make lunch for him. He usually finishes school at 12:10 or 1:00 p.m. and comes home hungry. We can, of course, discuss beforehand what you can prepare based on your skills.

For example, your day looks like this:
- Prepare lunch around 11 a.m.
- Luca comes home from school, has lunch, and helps with homework.
- Pick up Chiara from kindergarten at 2 p.m. (7-minute walk). She eats lunch at kindergarten; she doesn't need lunch, but she does need an afternoon snack. Usually a fruit plate.
- Playtime until I get home, usually around 3 p.m.
- 2-hour break until about 5 p.m.
- Help the kids shower, get dressed, and get ready.

I do NOT work at the restaurant on Mondays and Tuesdays, so the au pair here often has free time.

On Fridays, my husband has handball practice in the evening, so we would ask you to look after the sleeping children.

If you'd like, you're welcome to walk our dogs from time to time.

This is just an example of what your day might look like. I would like to have a meeting once a week to plan the upcoming week. Maybe you have a doctor's appointment or something else that we can take into account. Sometimes we have an event at the restaurant, so I have to work late. We discuss things like that then.
Open communication is very important to me, and I hope the au pair feels comfortable enough with us that they can come to me at any time if there are any problems.

Please only contact us if you can already care for yourself. The children need to be well looked after, and that will only work if you get along well.
I prefer a Spanish-speaking au pair, but I'm not tied to that and I rule out anything else. The au pair should speak either Spanish, English, or German B1 level well enough to be able to communicate.
