Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, we are the Mahoney family! We have two children - 5 and 1. Everly is in kindergarten and Hayden requires care all day. I am a nurse and my husband Jared is an electrician. We have 1 cat - Smiley Rainbow Rose Mahoney, name from our 5 year old. Ha! We live in the east end of Kingston and just a short 10 minute drive to the downtown core full of patios, great coffee, cute shops and more. We are around the corner from a bus stop. Our home in the east end is surrounded by wonderful walking paths and is a lovely neighbourhood.

Job Description

We are looking for someone friendly and outgoing to care for our 1 year old throughout the week, As well as walk our daughter to school (we are only 900 metres away from her school) and pick her up on the days Bri is working (with some weekdays off when I am off as I don't work everyday - roughly 7-10 days a month). We are also looking for one date night a month to have you watch the kids at supper/bed time so we can go out for dinner. You'll have lots of free time as well to learn, explore and have fun! Someone who loves the outdoors to take the littles for walks, play at the playground, and engage in fun activities :)

We will pay for you to have a bus pass during your time here, as well as have access to Bri's vehicle if you have your license and experience driving. We will pay for a phone plan during your stay if you bring your phone with you.

I love going to coffee shops and exploring around so on my days off I am happy to drive around so you can explore and learn more about Kingston.
