Would love to have an au-pair to help us out on a daily basis but also become part of our lives. We want you to have your own space also and be free to have a life outside the family.

Job Description

My schedule is a little hectic and my baby does not start daycare until next fall. So we need help looking after her when her father has a shift at work and I have work also. So there is also a lot of free time for the au pair when her father is not working on week days. We also need someone to stay in our apartment overnight when I need to be away and her father has a nightshift. Then when she starts daycare it's mostly drop of and pick up from daycare the days we need help and look after her until I come home. Also help with some evenings and weekends. So our schedule works best for someone who is willing to be a little flexible from month to month and basically just be apart of the family.

So the work would be a little more the first months until she starts daycare and then you will have more free time where you can explore the city and the country.

We also have a small dog (schnauzer), his name is Straumur. He would definitely love to take short walks with you and maybe occasionally put water or food in his bowl but we are flexible.

Accommodation

The au-air will have her own room in another apartment in our house. The apartment will be shared with one other tenant (a girl). We share the foyer so there is access to the family apartment is from inside and the au-air will off course have access to our apartment as well.
