Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of four (soon to be five!) living in Monaco. Our family consists of Camélia (me), 27 years old, a stay-at-home mom. I’m currently pregnant and on bed rest. My husband, Charles, also 27, travels frequently for work. We have two children: Zoë, born in July 2019 (5 and a half years old), and Emilio, born in May 2024 (10 months old), a little boy with special needs.

Our home is ideally located near Port Hercule. A language school is a 15-minute walk away, the train station is 10 minutes away, and a bus stop is just a hundred meters from our place.

Job Description

We are looking for an au pair to work five days a week (with two days off per week: Sunday + Wednesday or Saturday). The schedule consists of four days from 7 AM to 5 PM and one shorter day (Wednesday or Saturday) from 7 AM to 1 PM.

**Main responsibilities include:**
- Taking care of the children: Helping Zoë with her homework and activities, and looking after Emilio (playtime, hygiene, meals).
- Preparing meals for the children and handling simple household tasks (laundry, tidying up the children's rooms).
- Managing outings with the children (to the park, museum, aquarium), initially with me and later independently if you feel comfortable with it.

You will be staying in an independent studio, just a 10-minute walk from our home.
Our apartment doesn’t have enough bedrooms, so having separate accommodation is the most comfortable solution for everyone!

From your studio, you will have easy access to the city center and various points of interest in Monaco via public transportation.
A language school is about a 15-minute walk away if you wish to take classes.
