Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello and welcome to our family! We are a married couple with a 3-and-a-half-year-old child, Louis. We are also expecting a second child, who will be born in March 2025. Currently, we live in La Fare-les-Oliviers, a charming village between Aix-en-Provence and Salon-de-Provence. However, we are planning to move to Monteux, in the Vaucluse, in the summer of 2025.

Our daily life is dynamic with Louis, who is very curious and loves playing outdoors. We enjoy spending time together as a family and appreciate a balance between peaceful moments and activities. We are looking forward to welcoming you and sharing our culture and family life with you.

During your stay, if you wish to take language courses, you will also have access to language schools such as the Institut International de Langue in Avignon, which is easily accessible from Monteux.

Train station: Monteux is well served by the railway, with direct trains to Avignon and Carpentras, and easy access to the TGV network.

Job Description

We are looking for an Au Pair who can support us at home after school and contribute to the daily routine. Our eldest son, Louis, speaks English fluently, and it is important for us that he continues practicing English daily since he attends a French school. We would like you to accompany him in his activities in English to help him maintain his language skills.

Your role will also include general help around the house, such as assisting with meals, tidying up, and managing basic household chores. You will be a valuable support in organizing the evenings after school, and your presence will help us create a warm and stimulating environment for our children.
