Work abroad in ANA's family for 6-24 Months starting from Sep 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz Spain

We all need to make arrangements based on Mum's schedule.
THIS IS BASED ON A 4 DAYS WEEK, so 4 are the maximum days you will be working in a week, other weeks only 2 days.

Generally, you will not work weekends, neither afternoons after 3:30 pm. Some weekdays will be off as well, depending on my rota, which is a fixed 5 weeks rota, and you will know beforehand.

Some days, I will be leaving the house around 7:00am, we expect you to be ready at 7:00am (the little ones usually wake up around 7:30am). Matt gets home around 15:30pm, so from that moment you will not have to be involved.
Other weeks, I will be leaving around 12:00am or 13:00, so you will be working from that time until Matt gets in from work.
Other days, I will be working from home, so the job would be chill, just to make sure the little ones do not enter the room too much ;)

You will be having lots of free time during the week and the weekends, so we expect some flexibility if some mornings, afternoons or odd weekends we need you to stay with Edith and Mateo for a few hours, because we have docs appointments or other events, but this would not be the norm, and we will let you know in advance.

We expect from you the maximum attention to our little ones and their needs, keeping them safe. We want someone that shows a gentle approach and well- established limits. Some to help Edith and Mateo with their materials and toys, and be cooperative with their meals. We do not expect you to entertain them all the time, just show connection and affection (playtime together, some language teaching, etc),

We expect you to keep your room tidy and clean, plus the bathroom, which it needs to be maintained in optimal hygienic conditions as it will be shared with the little ones. Also, we expect you to do your washing up (plus, putting away) and the common areas you use and might get dirty (for example, the kitchen hob if it has been used, the table, etc.), your own laundry (plus, putting away), and keep the common areas tidy (if used).

Edie and Mateo sleep until they naturally wake up, so you might be able to doze off for a bit longer.
You will be helping them with breakfast and reaching the food they need for the day. You will stay home with them, or you can take them to the playground, or the beach, until Matt gets from work at 3.30pm. The little ones usually have lunch around 1:30pm which will be already ready most of the days, and you'll need to warm up, or it might be necessary to cook some easy meals like pasta, or rice and fresh vegetables.
