Hello, We are a Canadian family who live in Panama and own and run a boutique hotel (Catalina's Hideaway) on the beach. Anthea and Ryan are the parents who both worked in finance in Canada and quit their day jobs to move to paradise and build and open their dream hotel. We are very easy going and active family and the kids are lots of fun. Brody the boy is Turing 9 in June and is super easy going and loves Surfing, watching hockey, video games, playing outside and doing lego. Smyth who just turned 6 loves arts and crafts, tv, playing outside and with friends and playing with her dolls and toys. Both kids are very polite and friendly and love nature and the environment. We have a dog named Janice Joplin and 2 Tortoises named Turbo and Dino. Our home is a 2 minute walk tot he hotel with beautiful lush jungle grounds and a pool. We are in Lagartero and are a 15 minute drive to Santa Catalina the closest large town and tourist attraction. The Nanny/Au pair would be living in the staff house with other hotel staff from Panama and around the world. They would have their own room with AC (when the power isn't out) and wifi and a shared bathroom. They would spend most of their time in the house helping with cooking, cleaning and watching the kids when they aren't at school or other activities. We are looking for a Spanish speaking nanny to help us practice and improve our Spanish.
