Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi,
Angelique and I (Nick) are looking for help with our infant son, Ernest. We both work as physicians in Seattle, WA USA, and live about 10 miles from the city center alongside Lake Washington. We have two dogs - both miniature schnauzers that also live with us. There is a local bike and running trail that make city access easy, and we also enjoy easy access to the outdoors, be it hiking, biking, skiing, or spending time by the water. We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and who communicates well.

Job Description

We are mainly looking for help caring for Ernest during the days when we are at work, generally from 7am - 5pm on most weekdays. Some weekends and/or nights when we are on call, we could also use help, though this would be infrequent. Care for Ernest would involve feeding, diaper changes, nap time, and food prep/laundry. We would hope that an au pair would maintain a clean living space, as we also work to make sure the home is clean and organized.

Accommodation

We live in a wonderful house a block from Lake Washington with views of the Lake and Mount Rainier. An au pair would stay in their own room with their own bathroom as well. There is a kitchenette with a sink and small refrigerator on that floor, and wifi is available throughout the house. Laundry is upstairs as is the main kitchen.
