A Swedish family who have lived in Germany for many years are looking for an au pair in Landvetter, near Gothenburg. We have 3 children; 2 daughters; 8 years and 6 years and the little brother 3 years. The children speak fluent German and Swedish. We parents are called Henrik and Therese and are 41 and 43 years old respectively and work. We are now looking for a German-speaking au pair who will promote the children's German skills and help us support the family in dropping them off and picking them up from school/kindergarten and looking after the children. We are looking for a German-speaking au pair from August 2025 for around 10 months depending on the agreement. Near our house, in the center of Landvetter, there are good opportunities for outdoor activities, running and skiing. You can also reach Gothenburg city center in 20 minutes by bus. Our house is about 200 square meters and we offer a large separate bedroom for our future au pair. We offer a monthly allowance of 5000sek (before approx. 10% tax) plus room and board. We expect you to help us sometimes with dropping off in the morning, picking up in the afternoon and playing/looking after the children sometimes in the late afternoon.
We hope that you are a creative, positive person who is interested in games (indoors and outdoors) and crafts. If you have some knowledge of Swedish or want to learn Swedish, that's great but not a must. We are bilingual (German/Swedish) and want to develop our German, but also give you the opportunity to learn/develop Swedish.
