Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi,
We are the Family. We are a mixed race family, father from Scotland, mother from Jamaica, 3 children born in Jamaica recently moved to Scotland. Children aged 9, 4 and 2. All girls. Our 4 year old girl is a very loving Downs Syndrome toddler.

We live in an historic 4 bedroom house with a river at the bottom of a 2 acre garden. The centre of Edinburgh is only 12 miles away. A 20 minute bus ride to the city centre. The bus stop is just beside our front gate with a service to the city centre every 20 minutes. Student travel is free. Many language colleges in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is without doubt the most beautiful city in UK. It is a University City, so there is a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Our guest will have her own bedroom with en-suite shower room/toilet.

No specific skills are necessary just a love of childen. The job is just general help with housework and help caring for the children. We like to go out for the evening once per week and occasionally for a weekend break.
