Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,
We are very happy to welcome you to our home. It will not be our first time hosting an au-pair, but it is a first time since the kids have grown up a bit and since we moved to our current home.
We come from Europe, but decide to live in California for the time being which poses some challenges in our time management and we find the need for additional help yet again.
Having an aupair has worked wonderfully for us in the past, bringing our culture closer to the children and providing comfortable home away from home for the girls whom chose to come here and become part of our family.
We hope that you too can come to enjoy the California weather and spend a year filled with fun, joy and new adventures.

Accommodation

Our home is pretty big, your room is the one closest to the front door, which makes it secluded from the rest.
There is a bathroom next to it that is used by guests (we don’t have guests often) and will be yours otherwise. Our master bedroom is also downstairs, but on the other side and it has it’s own bath.
Kids are upstairs each have own bedroom and bathroom.
Eduardo’s office, the library, living room and kitchen are also downstairs. My office, the gym and movie room are upstairs.
If you like music, that is wonderful, music room is under construction and it will be outside (soundproofing is needed, besides other instruments, Bruno plays drums)

Your room specifically. I think it’s the smallest bedroom in the house, but I like it a lot because it didn’t get hot in the summer like the rest of the rooms, it has a nice porch outside which provides shade to the windows.
Like much of the other space, there is ikea furniture, day bed that is twin and can turn in to queen, desk and chair, Eduardo got a new TV there, in case you want to have some privacy and don’t care to watch Young Sheldon for the 5th day in a row.
The bathroom is also small, but the same style as the other 3, we had all of them remodeled completely before we moved here last year, so it’s really beautiful :)
