Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi, im a single father looking for help around the house with cooking, cleaning, and help with kids and cats. It would be nice to also have companionship, someone to talk to.

I have worked in the IT industry for over 20+ years. I currently work 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

We live on farmland in the in rural Central CA. The nearest city is 15mins away by car. Bigger cities are 45mins away. Beachs, mountains and other outdoor recreational things are a few hours away along with Major cities being around 3 hours away like LA.

Summers we can get as hot as 115f, winters we can get below 32f.

There is a river that runs through the property but there is usually water in it for certain time periods during spring and summer for farming irrigation. It's possible to go in river when safe.

Job Description

Help with cleaning, cooking. Watching and entertaining the kids.

Watching kids after they get out of school until I get home from work. Helping cook meals at times.

To be more specific, wake kids up, get them ready for school, drop them off at school, about a 7 minute drive from the house. Kids have to be to school before 8am the earliest they can be dropped off is 7:30am. Pick them up from school at 3:15pm, with exception on Wednesday they need to be picked up at 12:45pm. Kids need to do any homework before they can play. Watch kids till I get home from work.

While kids are at school tidy up the house. Help cook meals around 5-6pm each day.

Help take kids to any activities they are part of.

We have a bedroom downstairs along with a bathroom. We have highspeed internet and wifi, TV's in every room, a nice deck that spans length of the house to relax on. Will provide food. There are plenty of spots to enjoy nature outside the house.
