Work abroad in Katherine's family for 12-24 Months starting from May 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 0 - 1 year old & 1 - 5 years old in Leesburg, Virginia USA

Care for our children would mostly be 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday.

I (the mom) work from home full-time and am in and out of meetings from 9am to 5pm. I will be available during the day for support as needed when I am not in a meeting. I will be breastfeeding so you will need to bring the baby to me for feedings throughout the day.

The main focus for the Au Pair is to care for our baby (who will be 3 months old in May 2025). Our son, Miles, is in preschool from 8:30am to 3:30pm. We want the Au Pair to watch and play with him when he gets home from school in the afternoon and when he is off of school for the summer (Mid-June - August).

We would like someone who has good experience with infants. Someone who can be in tune with the baby's needs. Someone who can provide an enriched sensory experience and daily plan activities to help with their development, including games, reading, educational actives, crafts and getting outside on nice days.

Looking for someone with a friendly, energetic, take charge personality who is dependable. We do want someone sitting on their phone while caring for our children (unless to take photos or respond to quick messages). Responsibilities include nap schedule, diaper changes, feedings, planning daily activities, and cleaning up toys. During nap times, must be willing to help with basic household cleanup including tidying up toys, dishes/kitchen cleanup, kid's laundry, etc. Bonus if you like cooking or baking!
