Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

We’re excited to welcome you as our new au pair! Our family is made up of four girls—two sets of identical twins (ages 4 and 7). All four of them are fun, creative, and attend school full-time, which means mornings and weekends are busy but full of laughter.

You’ll be staying with us in our cozy little house—your own private room awaits! Our town is small and peaceful, but it’s not too far from everything you need: the train station is great, the school is just 100 meters away, and the town centre is 2 kilometers down the road. If you ever want to visit bigger cities on your days off, hopping on the train is really easy.

As our au pair, you’ll help get the kids ready in the morning, pick them up after school, and keep the house looking tidy. The girls love art, crafts, and imaginative play, so don’t be surprised if you’re asked to join their creative adventures! We’ll also rely on you for light housework here and there—nothing too intense, just enough to keep everything running smoothly.

We’ve been lucky enough to host three au pairs in the past three years, and each experience has been wonderful. We hope you’ll feel at home just as they did! We’re looking forward to getting to know you and sharing our daily life.

Job Description

We are mainly looking for help with the household. The kids have reached an age where they can mostly take care of themselves (but of course need somebody to keep an eye on them :-)).

The father is nearly always home (works full-time from home). The mother is usually working from an office (not at home).

During the day, the kids are at school and the eldest have a lot of hobbies as well.

Accommodation

We have a comfortable room for you and a large, shared bathroom. You can host friends if you like and are free to use anything in and around the house. We will provide you with meals to eat together with the family, but you are free to cook for yourself as well.
