We are a family of six (parents and four children). We have had several experiences hosting au pairs, and it has been an extraordinary experience that we would like to continue with you. We have already hosted two people and we would like to continue because each time it brings us something new. We are welcoming people and we do everything we can to make the au pair feel as comfortable as possible. We welcome them and treat them like family. Personally, I seek exchange and sharing, both in discussions and in daily assistance. We also enjoy discovering other countries through what our au pairs tell us each time. We travel a little thanks to them. We seek to understand other ways of living and seeing the world through each other's experiences. For us, hosting an au pair is, above all, a human encounter. We live in the south of France in a relatively quiet town in the Avignon metropolitan area with 8,000 inhabitants and all amenities (supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, schools, middle and high schools nearby). Our town is located 5 km from Avignon, a medium-sized town with just under 100,000 inhabitants, which offers university studies. Buses provide excellent service between our town and Avignon. Several associations offer free French classes every week in Avignon. The university also offers courses with several options (different time slots available, certified or not).
We live in a detached house with land and a swimming pool. We have three cats who live mainly outside.
We have bicycles if needed.
We have renovated a new, well-insulated bedroom especially for you. We are caring people and care about everyone's well-being. We have a lot of respect for everyone and we raise our children by explaining things without shouting. We enjoy showing you around our beautiful region and our au pair is always welcome if she wishes for any outing, games, activities.
