Welcome, we're so excited to introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into our family's life.

We're Nico and Laurel, a French-Canadian family living in beautiful Lisbon. Nico, originally from Menton, France, and Laurel, from Vancouver, Canada, share a deep love for experiencing new cultures and found a wonderful home here by the ocean. Our little family includes our son, Léopold, and we're thrilled to be welcoming a new baby in May. We are a bilingual family living Portugal, so if you'd like to improve your English, French or Portuguese, we are the perfect family for you.


After moving from Paris to Lisbon in April, we've embraced this fresh, ocean-filled, sunny life. We love the outdoors, exploring different cuisines, and staying active. Whether it's a day at the beach, a scenic walk through Lisbon's charming neighbourhoods, or a weekend adventure, we're always eager to soak up what this city has to offer.

As a family, we value kindness, curiosity, and an open heart. We're looking for an au pair who would like to join us in creating a nurturing joyful home, and who shares our love for discovery and connection. Your role with us will be an important one, as you'll be part of Léopold's early experiences and will have the chance to build a meaningful bond with him and our newest little one.
