Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We are a small family of 3. I am an Office Manager working between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm - but there may be a few occasions during the year I need to work late.
My husband is a content manager and he works from home three days a week.
We have a 4-year-old daughter — a sweetheart (of course I would say that). She attends school full-time - from 8.50am to 3.10pm. She is very independent and very cheeky.
We are a mix-Muslim family - Costa Rican/British Bangladeshi. We are very easygoing, welcoming and respectful. We would happily share our experiences of London and the UK with the Au Pair. Because of our mixed background, we would provide great insight into not only traditional British culture but also the sub-cultures of London that makes it such an international City - from the Latin American community in South London to the trendy Banksy-infused spots East London next to the sights and smells of Bangla Town in Brick Lane.

Job Description
You'll work Monday to Friday whilst I'm at work, and you will be responsible for:
1. Getting our daughter ready for school
2. Take her to/collect her from school
3. Doing her laundry
4. Cooking family meals twice a week
5. Ligh housework: cleaning the toilet and hoovering once a week.
You will have your room. You will start at 7 am and get our daughter ready for school. This includes making breakfast, helping her get ready and taking her to school. You will be free from 9 am to 3 pm - this time is yours to do whatever you want but bear in mind, you will need to cook family meals twice a week and do some light housework.
Evenings and weekends are also yours! Any extra hours will be paid at an agreed rate.

Family Description
We live in a house in a lovely area in East London surrounded by forests, lakes, country parks and open spaces. We are within walking distance from Woodford station. A ten-minute ride takes you to Europe's largest shopping centre in Stratford, a 20-minute ride takes you to trendy East London, and within 30 minutes, you will be in the tourist hotspots of Central London.We spend most of our weekends visiting family and relaxing, but occasionally, we like to visit museums and parks or go for a nice walk. And we're happy for you to join us if you wish on those excursions!
