Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
Thank you for checking and for considering your family as a new home for you. We are very happy and friendly family of 3. My two sons: Matias 9 and Camilo 7 and myself (Lina).
I will start full-time work on the 15th of march and therefore we need help at home. The boys are polite, friendly and are very welcoming to the au pair. (We had one for three years whom we miss greatly. She is family to us now)
We live in Fulham, an amazing neighbourhood with nice shops, cafes and next to leafy bishops park and the river where you can immerse yourself in nature while being very centrally located.
Buses run from our home doorstep and Putney Bridge underground station is just 500mt away.
We live in a penthouse quite modern and you will have a bedroom with amazing views over London from where you can enjoy the sunrise. You will share the bathroom with my sons (but they actually use mine most of the time).
Job Description
if this sounds like you and you want more details, read on:
1. In the morning preparing breakfast, helping the boys get ready for school, taking them to school for 8:00am, which is 20 min away either by bike or by bus. (1.5h per day)
2. In the afternoon, be at the school gate at 3:30, collect the boys and bring them home. Tidy up, prepare dinner and maybe give them a hand or directions so they do what is expected of them, (about 4 hours per day)
3. some Saturday mornings and a couple of evenings during the week (about 10 hours)
in total around 35h per week
Between 8 am and 3pm you have time for doing your own plans or studies or relax at home, as you wish.
