Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are looking for a lovely au pair to support us in our home in South-West London.

We are family of four plus a Labrador puppy. Juliet (70), Gregory (78), William (33), Jenny (31) and Willow (14 weeks). William lives in Bermuda and Jenny lives and works in Central London. We live in a large four bedroom terraced house with a garden in Wandsworth.

Gregory has Alzheimer's disease and Juliet is now his primary care giver. We both live in the house and are looking for some hep with day-to-day life now that Gregory needs more support. Medical care is not required but we would like someone who will be a companion and offer some practical help around the home. Jenny comes over often to spend time with the family and look after Gregory.

Juliet loves swimming, reading, travel, and seeing her friends. She is a great cook, loves a glass of wine and goes to every gallery, exhibition and new film in London!

Gregory is charming. His communication skills are now quite poor and his comprehension and memory is deteriorating. There is a daily hunt for his glasses/mobile phone/keys etc. He can get frustrated but he has a good sense of humour and he is very sociable. He loves having friends around and going out for dinners, to see shows, etc. He seems to light up when there is young energy around the house e.g. when Jenny comes over with her friends which is why we think that an au pair will work well for us.

We have an adorable, 3 month old, yellow labrador called Willow. We need someone who likes and is comfortable around dogs.

Accommodation

The house is a four bedroom terraced house in South-West London. There is a private garden and plenty of green spaces near by. The house is in Zone 2 and the transport links are excellent so you can get into Central London by bus or tube very easily.

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom which is on a separate floor of the house so it is private.
