Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,

We’re a small family living in North West London, and we’re looking for a calm, patient, and emotionally strong au pair to join us between June and September 2025, ideally for 12 to 24 months.

Our household includes me (Dad) and my two daughters. I work full-time and the children are in school during the day, so your main responsibilities would be weekday mornings and afternoons/early evenings.

We’re currently going through a period of change, as I’m in the process of a divorce. The girls are doing well, but it’s a sensitive time. We’re looking for someone who can offer steady support and connect with them in a warm, understanding way. Your presence will be an important part of helping them feel secure and cared for.

We live in a quiet suburb with excellent transport links—just 30 minutes from central London. Most school runs and activities are within walking distance, so a driver’s licence isn’t essential, though it could be helpful.
